In the beginning I was doubting, in a way, because I did the DiSC profile in the past, but I thought a bit of a refresher can not do any harm.Then I realised that, although I did the profile, I couldn’t really use it practically.So now I feel confident and comfortable that I can go out and apply it in real life and that makes a huge difference. It’s a great experience.
Today I’ve learned about different types of personality as per the DiSC assessment tool. I’ve learnt to understand myself, understand others and improve my communication with others.
Today I learned four languages in one session. I was blown away with the information I got. Understanding different people’s personality types will really help you communicate with others differently. I’ve always wondered ‘how would people misunderstand what I say? Or get it wrong? It’s very clear to me.’ But, after today, I understand how different personality types will have different understanding of certain situations and I now know how to deal with them differently. This will help me to succeed more in my business dealings, have better relations and more profits.
It’s not easy to find training that is fully engaging, full of activities, full of real-life examples, away from lecturing, that changes the behaviour of managers and their subordinates in a very structured way. Today I found what I am looking for.When we are spending a lot of money solving problems from personality conflicts at work. When we are spending a lot of time trying to fix errors of employees. All of this can be avoided by very simple techniques that we learned today in this wonderful session with Corrina Cross.”
